The most popular website on cloistered life
Cloistered and monastic communities can now make use of the most popular website on cloistered life (as measured by Google traffic) to get the word out about their charism to vocation candidates. These communities can tap into the strength of the Internet with a new advertising program run in cooperation with the Institute on Religious Life (IRL) of the Chicago area.
Cloistered, contemplative community of women
The program is run by Kevin J. Banet, of VocationPromotion.com, whose relationship with the IRL goes back nearly twenty years. The program consists of an attractively designed ad for the home page of the IRL’s website at CloisteredLife.com.
CloisteredLife has more than 60 pages and is visited 1,700 times each month. The website provides opportunities for exposure for cloistered communities, especially since by their nature their members cannot go out into society to mix with others.
The program is open to IRL Affiliates. Requests for ads from non-IRL Affiliates will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Basic Ad Plan
For only $75 per month, we will place your ad on CloisteredLife.com and provide a link to your community’s website. (Your ad can be designed for a one-time fee of $100.) A three-month commitment is requested for this plan. We ask that you pay one-half of the $225 three-month fee ($112.50) to begin the program, and you will be invoiced for the remaining amount at the end of the three-month period. After that, you will be invoiced at the end of each three-month service period.
Your ad will be attractively displayed on the Cloistered Life home page. Ad size is 150 px by 220 px (See Carmelite ad above). Ads are placed, top to bottom on a first-come, first-served basis. So sign up quickly! Visitors who click on your ad go to your website.
Advanced Plan (Ad and Article)
For greater exposure, for only $180/mo., we will, in addition to the ad, write a short article about your community for the home page of CloisteredLife.com each month, post the article on a popular Catholic social media website, and make a post on Facebook each month. You ad will also be placed on GreatCatholicHomilies.com, and GreatCatholicWebsites.com. We will work with you each month to write an article idea to your liking. A three-month commitment is requested for this program. We ask that you pay one-half of the $540 three-month fee ($270) to begin the program, and you will be invoiced for the remaining amount at the end of the three-month period. After that, you will be invoiced at the end of each three-month service period.
