The trend toward using videos for vocations
I don’t know about you, but I’ve gotten gobs of helpful information with the use of videos lately.
While I’m jogging, jumping rope, or moving from here to there, there is so much deep information out there with videos nowadays. It helps the time-crunched person, whether you’re subject is mystics or marketing, spirituality or sweet potatoes.
Two new videos for religious communities launched last week by Vocation Promotion are showing the growing popularity of video as a vocation tool.
The Visitation Sisters’ video, “Jubilee Celebrating Saint Margaret Mary, Messenger of the Sacred Heart,” has received more than two hundred views in less that a week, and the video of the Mercedarian Friars USA, “Serapion, Soldier, Martyr and Saint of the Sick” is gaining views as well.
Video – 80% of internet traffic
The website Wordstream reports that:
- Internet video traffic made up 69% of all global consumer Internet traffic in 2017.
- By 2019, internet video traffic will account for 80% of all consumer Internet traffic.
Want to highlight your community’s founder, or charism?
Why not let Vocation Promotion draw more visitors to your website with videos? This is a way to improve your digital footprint, and increase vocations to your community. We have recently improved our artistic and technical video abilities. We will research and write the script, find the artwork and do the publicity to bring the views.
