A new video of a 14th century martyr highlights the powerful use of poetry in a video.
The video, “St. Peter Paschasius – a Love Stronger than the Sword” consists of 88 lines of poetry plus a prayer to the saint at the end.
The story of St. Peter Paschasius, a bishop who was killed for his faith, is told in the below video. St. Paschasius was a saint of the Order of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mercy. (In the United States, the order is known as the Mercedarian Friars USA.)
